The first memory I have of Dan was in high school...we were on the seminary council together during our senior year. We had fun retreats up at the Howells cabin - fishing, riding horses, and deep discussions. Dan brought so much love and enthusiasm to our group. I'll never forget his kindness to all the students and an overwhelming attitude of service. I have continued to stay close to Dan and Amy for the past 23 years and have seen his life continue to exemplify these tributes.
